In this workshop we will experience what Energy Theatre is, through our thoughts, bodies, senses, sensations, emotions and feelings. It’s a combination of physical theatre, some Eastern therapeutic approach techniques, and Western body psychotherapeutic methods. It helps actors and students of acting to reconnect with their body consciously, setting free the creative talent and acting skills. BoxWhatBox is a specialised training and performance technique for creative artists. It focuses on about learning how to unlearn, and re-learning how to play in a creative and productive manner. My approach incorporates exercises and games I have developed along with approaches taken from the work of great artists such as Spolin, Boal, Brecht, Grotowski, Stanislavsky and others; but, is especially close in orientation to that of Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret. The work is intensely physical, and the artists are trained to be creative leaders in rehearsal or productions situations.
